New myChevrolet App Offers Better Customer Experience

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. – This year Chevrolet will debut an upgraded version of the myChevrolet mobile app at CES 2016. The new myChevrolet app offers better customer experience with convenient controls of your vehicle.

In 2016 the services that are offered through the myChevrolet and OnStar RemoteLink apps will be combined into one. This gives Chevrolet owners easier mobile access to many different things like:

• Roadside assistance
• Parking reminders
• Owner’s manual
• Vehicle diagnostics
• Wi-Fi hotspot management
• Remote start
• Door unlock
• Activate horn & lights
• Check tire pressure
• Check fuel range
• Send directions to navigation system
• Schedule maintenance

The new myChevroelt app offers better customer experience by combing two apps into one. Chevrolet drivers will be able to access everything they need for their vehicle with only one user profile and login. Users can also customize their home screen on the app to take advantage of the tabs they use the most.

The Newly Designed 2016 Chevy SS

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. – The Chevrolet SS is all about performance. Not only should you be impressed by what’s under the hood, but also by what’s covering all of those components. The SS has always had a confident look on the road, and the newly designed 2016 Chevy SS is no different.

There have been many exterior changes to the newest model of the SS, and the first is the front fascia. With vertical ducts on the outmost edges, airflow is directed over the front wheels to improve the aerodynamic efficiency. Designers also incorporated LED signature lighting to the front of the vehicle, and for the hood you’ll see functional vents for better performance. Last, but not least, the wheels feature a new 19-inch cast-aluminum design sealing the deal that this sports sedan means business.

A few things that weren’t changed on the newly designed 2016 Chevy SS are the working parts that make this car a great performing, spacious sedan. Under the hood you’ll find a 6.2L V8 engine that kicks out 415 horsepower and 415lbs of torque. The sports car can be bought with a six-speed manual transmission or a paddle-shift six-speed automatic transmission.

A little added bonus is the new dual-exhaust system that makes for quieter performance when driving at low engine speeds and produces a more muscular note when driving with a wide-open throttle.

Pricing Details Have Been Released For The 2016 Camaro

MT.PLEASANT, Mich. - We are excited to announce that the pricing details have been released for the 2016 Camaro! The starting MSRP for the base model of the 2016 Camaro comes in at $26,695 which is $3,000 more than last year's base model.

The sixth-generation Camaro however begins in a 1LT trim, while the previous Camaro model began at a more "spartan" LS trim. There are more reasons for the price increase, including the fact that the 2016 Camaro 1LT is actually more affordable than the 2015 Camaro 1LT, while delivering a lot more content for the money. These features include Chevrolet MyLink with Apple CarPlay connectivity (Android Auto will come later), 8-way driver and 6-way passenger power-adjusting seats, a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, push-button start and more.

The heart and soul of the brand-new Camaro however, is definitely found underneath the hood. The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro 1LT will be a 2.0L LTG turbocharged engine with 275 horsepower and will also be available in the brand-new 3.6L LGX V6 with a best-in-class 335 horsepower and 284 ft-lb of torque.

While pricing details have been released for the 2016 Camaro — which features a $3,000 increase over last year — , prices have not been given for the other variable options the Camaro will come in such as the , convertible form. Both will be available with 1LT, 2LT, 1SS, and 2SS trim levels.

Chevy Proves It Isn't Afraid of the Dark With the New 2016 Chevy Colorado Midnight Edition

MT.PLEASANT, Mich. - Chevrolet has recently come to the realization that maybe some good things can happen after the midnight hour. Chevy proves it isn't afraid of the dark with the new 2016 Chevy Colorado Midnight Edition.  Recently that automaker announced that the '16 Colorado would be joining the Chevy Impala, as well as the Cadillac ATS and CTS, would be getting the "Midnight Edition" trim package option. This in addition to thematically similar versions of the Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, and GMC Canyon.

As with the Impala, ATS and CTS, the Colorado comes ready to evade nighttime air raids. The grille, Chevy bowtie, 18-inch aluminum wheels, and various trim bits are all painted black, while the spray-in bedliner and tonneau cover are, of course, both black. The only available paint color? Black.

General Motors has yet to release pricing details, however the sacrifice to embrace darkness is a small one, with the Midnight package requiring only that buyers step past the base Colorado Work Truck and into a mid-level LT. It’s available in both the extended- or crew-cab body style.

The 2016 Volt Gives Drivers 53 Miles Of EV Range

MT. PLEASANT, MI – Chevy delivered what the customers were asking for –The 2016 Volt gives drivers 53 miles of EV range! The brand new 2016 Volt offers its drivers 53 miles just from one charge of the battery! This is almost a 40 percent increase from the first-generation Volt model.

New Volt owners are using the new 18.4 kWh lithium-ion battery, rated at a combined 106MPGe, or the gasoline equivalent. When the battery gets low the car switches over to a gas-powered generator to increase the driving range to 420 miles on a full tank.

Drivers of the new Volt are expected to use the battery power for about 90 percent of their trips, compared to the first-generation Volt owners who used battery power for only 80 percent of their trips. This is beneficial because the owners can drive easily over 1,000 miles between each gas fill up if they charge their new cars regularly.

The next-generation Volt also has a 1.5L range-extender, which uses regular unleaded fuel, and gives the driver an EPA fuel efficiency of 42 MPG, which gives the 2016 Volt 53 miles of EV range. 

Statistics from the original Volt shows that customers exceeded the previous EPA-estimated mileage and are expected to do the same with the new Volt. Stay tuned to find out more about the release of the 2016 Chevrolet Volt. The 2016 Camaro Will Be Available To Order Starting August 13th

MT.PLEASANT, Mich. - It's safe to say the automotive world has been patiently waiting for the sixth-gen Camaro to become available to the public. When the 2015 Dodge Challenger and Ford Mustang were introduced for the 2015 model year, both cars were made available in the spring of 2014. The Camaro is fashionably late to the game but it looks like there is finally an order date that has been made public. The 2016 Camaro will be available to order starting August 13th, according to a leaked document obtained by CamaroNews.

This could mean that possibly, in 24 days, you can head down to Graff Mt. Pleasant and put cash down on the next generation, 2016 Camaro. Unfortunately this is just speculation based on a leaked document, however, it is the best lead on the availability date for the new Camaro since its release in May. In the past, the Coupe models have been made available going into the winter before the convertibles are made available, and there is no doubt that Chevy will follow that same model. The Coupe will also come with two trim level options– LT and SS.

If the document is indeed legitimate, the 2016 Camaro will be available to order starting August 13th. This would also be the date that the first Camaros will start being built at the assembly plant in Lansing, per an announcement from Chevy back in June. If production and orders do start on August 13th, the new muscle cars should roll into dealerships in October or November.
