2016 Buick Cascada Convertible Debuts at Detroit Auto Show

2016 Buick Cascada Convertible Debuts at Detroit Auto Show

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. – It's been more than two decades since the brand's lineup included a convertible but that's all changing now because Buick debuted the 2016 Cascada Convertible at the Detroit Auto Show this week in an attempt to bring sexy back!

The automaker has been on a serious mission to challenge consumer's old perceptions of the brand, and while the current lineup has built up some stylish momentum, the 2016 Buick Cascada Convertible debut at the Detroit Auto Show is taking fun and exciting to the next level! The Cascada, a full-size convertible, is the first of its kind that GM has offered in over 25 years and is expected to be priced more competitively than other vehicles in the same segment. Built on the same front-wheel drive platform as the Buick Verano, the new convertible will offer 200 HP and 206 lb.-ft. of torque thanks to the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

And most importantly, you can drop the top in just 17 seconds even while the car is moving up to 31 mph! Can't be wasting any time when you're trying to feel the wind in your hair, right? With room for four, the 2016 Buick Cascada Convertible is ready for some fun!
