2.) South Haven, MI: Located on the west side of Michigan near Kalamazoo, South Haven is a beautiful sight to behold. If you want to get on the water, visit the Michigan Maritime Museum with over a half dozen river boat excursions and sailing available for all interested. 3.) Holland, MI: More than just a city on the beach, Holland has so much to offer travelers from near and far. 4.) Grand Haven, MI: Another West Michigan destination that might shock you with its cold water temps is Grand Haven. The infamous Grand Haven lighthouse is a spectacular site to behold and something you may wish to check out while you walk the beach or swim in Lake Michigan. A great way to check out the whole city is to hop on the trolley that goes all throughout town. Or visit the boardwalk to see all the boats nearby.
