Pricing Details Have Been Released For The 2016 Camaro

Pricing Details Have Been Released For The 2016 Camaro

MT.PLEASANT, Mich. - We are excited to announce that the pricing details have been released for the 2016 Camaro! The starting MSRP for the base model of the 2016 Camaro comes in at $26,695 which is $3,000 more than last year's base model.

The sixth-generation Camaro however begins in a 1LT trim, while the previous Camaro model began at a more "spartan" LS trim. There are more reasons for the price increase, including the fact that the 2016 Camaro 1LT is actually more affordable than the 2015 Camaro 1LT, while delivering a lot more content for the money. These features include Chevrolet MyLink with Apple CarPlay connectivity (Android Auto will come later), 8-way driver and 6-way passenger power-adjusting seats, a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, push-button start and more.

The heart and soul of the brand-new Camaro however, is definitely found underneath the hood. The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro 1LT will be a 2.0L LTG turbocharged engine with 275 horsepower and will also be available in the brand-new 3.6L LGX V6 with a best-in-class 335 horsepower and 284 ft-lb of torque.

While pricing details have been released for the 2016 Camaro
— which features a $3,000 increase over last year — , prices have not been given for the other variable options the Camaro will come in such as the , convertible form. Both will be available with 1LT, 2LT, 1SS, and 2SS trim levels.

We cannot wait for the 2016 Camaro to make its way to dealerships this fall, and you can bet we will let you know the second they pull onto our lot! At your local Alma Area Used Car Dealer, we have tons of beautiful new and used vehicles on site that are ALWAYS available to be taken out for a test drive! The 2016 Camaro Will Be Available To Order Starting August 13th

The 2016 Camaro Will Be Available To Order Starting August 13th

MT.PLEASANT, Mich. - It's safe to say the automotive world has been patiently waiting for the sixth-gen Camaro to become available to the public. When the 2015 Dodge Challenger and Ford Mustang were introduced for the 2015 model year, both cars were made available in the spring of 2014. The Camaro is fashionably late to the game but it looks like there is finally an order date that has been made public. The 2016 Camaro will be available to order starting August 13th, according to a leaked document obtained by CamaroNews.

This could mean that possibly, in 24 days, you can head down to Graff Mt. Pleasant and put cash down on the next generation, 2016 Camaro. Unfortunately this is just speculation based on a leaked document, however, it is the best lead on the availability date for the new Camaro since its release in May. In the past, the Coupe models have been made available going into the winter before the convertibles are made available, and there is no doubt that Chevy will follow that same model. The Coupe will also come with two trim level options LT and SS.

If the document is indeed legitimate, the 2016 Camaro will be available to order starting August 13th. This would also be the date that the first Camaros will start being built at the assembly plant in Lansing, per an announcement from Chevy back in June. If production and orders do start on August 13th, the new muscle cars should roll into dealerships in October or November.

You can bet that the second we get more news about the sixth-gen 2016 Camaro, we will share it with you ASAP! The Camaro is a vehicle steeped in American automotive lore, and this new model is sure to have all the bells and whistles that pony car enthusiasts love! At your local Alma Area Used Car Dealer, we have tons of beautiful new and used vehicles on site that are ALWAYS available to be taken out for a test-drive! Visit us at your Graff Mt. Pleasant Chevy Dealership located at 4580 E Pickard Rd in Mount Pleasant, Michigan 48858 or our Buick GMC Cadillac Dealership located at 116 N. Mission St in Mount Pleasant, MI 48858.

Chevy Will Bring The 2016 Sixth-Gen Camaro To Lansing

Chevy Will Bring The 2016 Sixth-Gen Camaro To Lansing

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. - General Motors announced last week that Chevy will bring the 2016 sixth-gen Camaro to Lansing, Michigan, to be built in Michigan's capital city. Chevrolet will hire back 500 second shift jobs at the plant to help build the new muscle car.

The 2016 Chevy Camaro will end its summer promo tour at the Los Angeles Auto Show before coming home to Lansing to begin production in November. It will be available to buyers near the end of the 2015 fourth quarter, and consumers are counting down the days till they can get their hands on Chevy's new muscle car.

Currently, the fifth-gen Camaro is being built across the border in an Ontario plant. While GM is excited the new Camaro will be built in Lansing, they are also investing over $170 million into Lansing's facility for new equipment that includes new paint systems to accommodate new Camaro-only colors: Summit White, Bright Yellow and Red Hot. Currently, General Motors also builds the Cadillac ATS and CTS models at the Lansing Plant.

The mayor of Lansing, Mayor Virg Bernero, stated, "Gearing up for full-scale production of the legendary Chevy Camaro is a new high point in the more than two decades of extraordinary partnership between the City of Lansing, General Motors and the UAW." This investment into the Lansing plant is just a small part of the current $2.8 billion investment that General Motors is putting into a multitude of its facilities across the country. These include a $439 million investment at the Corvette plant in Kentucky and a $1.2 billion investment at its truck facility in Indiana.

The all-new sixth-generation Camaro was revealed in Detroit last month, and since then has been going toe-to-toe against the 50th Anniversary Edition Mustang and the Dodge Challenger Hellcat. Chevy will bring the 2016 sixth-gen Camaro to Lansing in the fall and you can bet that Hank Graff of Mt. Pleasant will have the best inventory around! Visit us at our Chevrolet dealership located at 4580 E Pickard Rd in Mount Pleasant, Michigan 48858 or our Buick GMC Cadillac dealership located at 116 N. Meet The 2016 Chevy Camaro

Meet The 2016 Chevy Camaro

MT.PLEASANT, Mich. – Get ready to meet the 2016 Chevy Camaro! This past Saturday, General Motors presented the new 2016 Camaro to the world. The assembled fans, media and auto-world insiders waited impatiently for Chevy to reveal the muscle car that has been the talk of the town since Chevrolet started revealing parts of the new car a few weeks ago. In a muscle car war that brings in the heavy weights like the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger, the Camaro rolled into battle with SIX prototypes to the unveiling on Belle Isle.

The new 2016 Camaro is a softer-edged car that looks completely different than the 5th generation Camaro currently sitting at dealerships across the country. The only parts they have truly in common are the Chevrolet bow-tie badge on the trunk and the SS badge on the V8-powered SS models, according to GM.  Coming in at 200 pounds lighter, the new design makes the Camaro look lower and wider even though its actual dimensions are within 2 inches of the current Camaro model. The sixth generation Camaro will be available in both V8 and V6 engines, each more powerful than the current model's V8 and V6, as well as with a turbocharges 4-cylinder engine.

GM's CEO Mary spoke of the new Camaro to Bloomberg Television, stating that; "Every inch of has been improved." When asked if the Camaro will outsell the Mustang, she stated; "I think we will, and that is our goal." The all-new 2016 Camaro will now head on a countrywide promo tour that includes stops at the MLB All-Star Game in Cincinnati and the Woodward Dream Cruise where fans of the muscle car can meet the 2016 Chevy Camaro in person, before ending the summer at the Los Angeles Auto Show. After that, the 2016 will pull into dealerships this fall, finally available to the waiting public!

GM Set To Reveal The New Sixth-Generation Camaro This Saturday

GM Set To Reveal The New Sixth-Generation Camaro This Saturday

MT.PLEASANT, Mich. - Much to the enthusiasm of the automotive world, GM is set to reveal the new sixth-generation Camaro this Saturday. The new 2016 Camaro is Chevy's answer to the 50th Anniversary Edition Ford Mustang and the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. In a back and forth war that has been going on since the beginning of the year, these three vehicles dominate the muscle car class, as they should.

The 2016 Camaro unveiling was opened up to the first 1000 individuals who registered via the #CAMAROSIX website, and all 1000 spots filled up in a little over 8 hours. Chevy spokesperson Monte Doran said, "We were very surprised. We thought it would take a few days or weeks to fill the available spots, so the response far exceeded our expectations!" Due to Chevy using already existing infrastructure for the Belle Isle Grand Prix, the auto company had to limit the reveal event to 1000 people.

But those lucky 1,000 fans will be in muscle car nirvana. In addition to the main event, those present will also be able to ride along on hot laps of the race course in the 2015 Camaro Z/28 models and take a parade lap in their own Camaros. Chevrolet is, smartly, veering away from the conventional approach to unveiling a new vehicle, which is usually done so at the traditional auto shows. An large treat for Camaro fans attending the event this weekend will also be the Camaro Museum on site, with over 20 cars ranging from the oldest production Camaro in existence, the 1967 Camaro VIN 16, or the original 2006 Camaro concept that preceded the fifth-gen model (the "Bumblebee" Camaro).

GM is set to reveal the new sixth-generation Camaro this Saturday. The 2016 Camaro will roll into dealerships this fall after a cross-country promo tour that will take it to the MLB All-Star Game in Cincinatti to "Camaro Fest" in Kentucky, and even back to Michigan for the Woodward Dream Cruise before making its final curtain call at the Los Angeles Auto Show. We are so excited, and CANNOT WAIT to see this amazing car!
