Hennessey Has Plans For A Cadillac CTS-V With 1000 Horsepower

MT.PLEASANT, Mich. – Dodge released the Hellcat, with 707 HP. Then Ford released a Mustang with 800+ HP, BUT Cadillac has just busted through the pack; Hennessey has plans for a 2016 Cadillac CTS-V with 1,000 HORSEPOWER. Yes, you read that correctly, ONE. THOUSAND. HORSES. Wow! The Texas-based speed shop owned by John Hennessey is infamous for stuffing as much power into vehicles as technologically possible, and they have just taken the Cadillac to the next level.

Hennessey plans on offering three different packages for the upcoming CTS-V, the first gallops into the stable with 750 horses, thanks to new supercharger pulleys, new cylinder heads, a custom cam, and an intercooler. A mid-range option will be available at 800 horses (Yeah, 800 HP is MID-RANGE), and both packages come with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty.

However, Hennessey has plans for a Cadillac CTS-V with 1000 Horsepower, so, if 800 horses just aren’t enough for you, you will want to empty your savings and opt for the HPE1000 package. This baby ditched the supercharger, and swaps it for twin turbos and brings along brand-new EVERYTHING: aluminum pistons, a forged steel crank and rods, upgraded cylinder heads, and a beefed up fuel system are just SOME of the new upgrades. At this massive, half-ton HP level, Hennessey offers only a one=year/12,000-mile warranty. It is safe to say, this will be ONE WILD RIDE!

New 2016 Cadillac CT6 Sets The Stage

Cadillac is no different, and the new 2016 Cadillac CT6 sets the stage and forges ahead at full speed back into the luxury car segment, and that success depends heavily on the success of the CT6. The new model made its world debut on Wednesday, April 1^st, and it was NO joking matter! This past September, GM moved Cadillac’s headquarters from Detroit to New York City, hoping to bring a more “refined” and “luxury” aspect to the brand. 

The new CT6 is brand new, rebuilt from the ground up. Utilizing an advanced aluminum-intensive architecture that contains 11 different materials to maximize strength and rigidity, the new CT6 sparks a completely new manufacturing style for GM. This new architecture styles allows GM to choose the materials that suit different parts of the chassis best.

The new 2016 Cadillac CT6 sets the stage for GM's jump back into the luxury car segment. The interior and the available technology are the two areas that Cadillac needed to step up their game, and the new CT6 does that effortlessly. The CT6’s interior features soft-touch leather and plastic, open-pore wood trim, as well as fully adjustable and heated, front and rear seating.

The 2016 GMC Terrain Is Getting A Fresh Update

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. – The new 2016 GMC Terrain is sporting a refreshingly updated look for the new model year. The 2016 GMC Terrain crossover, and upscale Terrain Denali model, will feature new front and rear looks, a new hood design, and a revised center stack. The model is expected to go on sale later this year.

The 2016 GMC Terrain is getting a fresh update and was actually introduced a bit earlier than originally expected! The new Terrain features an updated chrome grille design for certain trims, LED daytime running lamps on higher trim models, new 18-inch aluminum wheel design, and new exterior colors. GMC has also stated that for the first time ever, it will be offering blind spot and rear cross-traffic alerts on the SLE and SLT trims.

The new updates to the 2016 GMC Terrain are an important step for GMC; the Terrain is one of the most important models for the company and drives new customers towards the brand. 2016 Buick Enclave Will Feature The New Tuscan Edition

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. – The highly successful Buick Enclave is getting a taste of Italian elegance for the 2016 model year! Buick has announced that the 2016 Buick Enclave will feature the new Tuscan Edition. This air of Italian sophistication is named after the famously hilly and fertile region of the Italian countryside, with bronze accents accentuating the new Enclave.

The new Tuscan Edition adds a specialized bronze trim to the uprights of the grille, and the metallic color also filters into the embellishments on the 20-inch chrome wheels. Three shades are available to buyers when ordering this package: Ebony Twilight Metallic, Dark Chocolate Metallic (shown above), and White Frost Tri-coat. The 2016 Buick Enclave will feature the new Tuscan Edition and the package can only be ordered on the Leather and Premium trims.

Cadillac CT6 Will Debut With A New V-6

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. -  GM has released the news this past Friday that the new Cadillac CT6 will debut with a new V-6! This new V-6 engine includes a best-in-segment 400 HP 3-liter twin turbo engine V-6 that will debut with the brand’s new CT-6 sedan. The CT6, midsize CTS, and the compact ATS sedans will also be outfitted with the next generation of V-6 engines.

This exciting engine announcement is in coordination of the new CT6 rollout, which was featured during an Oscars ad back in February. The new Cadillac CT6 will debut with a new V-6 engine and General Motors is currently investing heavily into Cadillac’s image, attempting to bring more sophistication to the brand itself. These V-6 powertrains are apart of this massive $12 billion investment in GM’s luxury brand.

“A new premium engine with a new premium car is just what the luxury space needs,” states Stephanie Brinley, an auto analyst with HIS Automotive. “It is a smart move for Cadillac to offer a brand new engine in a car that promises premium content and technology.” However, the new powerfully impressive engine will have some affect on the sedan's fuel economy. Cadillac engineers did mention that fuel economy is not a customer priority in the luxury market, but now due to stricter federal fuel economy mandates, manufacturers are replacing V-8 engines with turbo V-6s as a premium engine option.
