New myChevrolet App Offers Better Customer Experience

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. – This year Chevrolet will debut an upgraded version of the myChevrolet mobile app at CES 2016. The new myChevrolet app offers better customer experience with convenient controls of your vehicle.

In 2016 the services that are offered through the myChevrolet and OnStar RemoteLink apps will be combined into one. This gives Chevrolet owners easier mobile access to many different things like:

• Roadside assistance
• Parking reminders
• Owner’s manual
• Vehicle diagnostics
• Wi-Fi hotspot management
• Remote start
• Door unlock
• Activate horn & lights
• Check tire pressure
• Check fuel range
• Send directions to navigation system
• Schedule maintenance

The new myChevroelt app offers better customer experience by combing two apps into one. Chevrolet drivers will be able to access everything they need for their vehicle with only one user profile and login. Users can also customize their home screen on the app to take advantage of the tabs they use the most.

Track Santa's Journey with OnStar

MT. PLEASANT, Mich. – Christmas Eve is approaching and Santa is getting ready to make his trip around the globe delivering presents to all of the good little boys and girls! It is truly a mystery how he does it all in one night, but for the 7th year in a row you can track Santa's journey with OnStar to make sure you're sound asleep when he comes down your chimney!

OnStar has once again partnered with the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) to provide Santa updates to anyone with an active OnStar subscription. Just press your blue OnStar Button any time between 6am on December 24th and 5am on December 25th and a jolly OnStar advisor will provide you with Santa's precise location at that exact time according to NORAD's Santa Tracker Map!

Plus, OnStar and its AtYourService partner Audiobooks is offering complimentary copies of the classic The Night Before Christmas, download via email link sent by an Onstar advisor. Famlies can enjoy listening to the book in the vehicle on their holiday travels using Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, or a Bluetooth connection.

OnStar is donating again this year to the United Way for Southeastern Michigan and the United Way Mexico. For every call received to track Santa's journey, OnStar will donate $1 to the United Way so that everyone can benefit from the magic of the holiday season! Last year, the calls raised more than $2,600.
