MT. PLEASANT, Mich. – There’s a new car on the block that everyone
is talking about. The new Chevy Malibu is getting a lot of attention and there are good reasons why! Here’s what you need to know about the all-new Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid LT.
First off, the all-new Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid LT gets a GM-estimated 48 mpg city, 45 mpg highway, and 47 mpg overall. If its fuel efficiency isn't enough of a reason to buy this vehicle, we're not sure what is!
The Malibu Hybrid has a slightly modified drive unit and
electric motor used in the 2016 Chevrolet Volt. The modified technology
helps Chevrolet use their expertise to bring drivers a world-class hybrid.
Other features you’ll find in the Malibu Hybrid include:
- Chevrolet MyLink
- 7 inch diagonal color touch screen
- Apple CarPlay & Andriod Auto capability
- Rear view camera
- Push-button start
- Passive entry
Inside the car you’ll find 10 airbags, push-button start,
and you can unlock your vehicle with ease using passive entry. Under the hood
is an Anew Ecotec 1.8L hybrid optimized direct-injected engine.
There are plenty of safety features that are offered with the
Malibu Hybrid which include:
- Lane Keep Assist
- Front Pedestrian Braking
- Low Speed Front Automatic Braking
- Teen Driver
Most of these safety features are new to the Malibu. If you
have a new driver on your hands you might want to check out Teen Driver.
Available in all Malibu models, Teen Driver encourages safe driving habits. The
audio will mute in the vehicle if any front-seat passengers are not wearing a
seat belt. It is also the very first in-vehicle system that allows parents to
view information on how their teen is driving.
The all-new Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid LT will be available
this spring to consumers. Be on the lookout for any other updates on the
vehicle.
