Chevy Has a Lot to Celebrate!

MT. PLEASANT, Mich.,–– Chevy has a lot to celebrate right now as 2018 draws to a close. The Detroit-motor brand is in the midst of promoting the 100 year anniversary of their world-renowned truck line and even awarded the recent Major League Baseball World Series MVP with a special Centennial Edition Silverado. Celebrate 100 Years of Chevy Trucks with a Truck-Inspired Pandora Station

Along with their Truck Legends program, Chevrolet has partnered with Pandora to create and curate a radio station celebrating 100 years of Chevy Trucks. The Pandora station, called Chevy Truck 100, plays a wide catalog of country music songs referencing pickups and the huge influence they've had on American culture. Songs about driving your truck down back roads, dancing on the tailgate, and the tough, hardworking people who drive pickups can be heard to commemorate a century of Chevy trucks. Additionally, you can enter the Chevrolet Truck Legends program and receive exclusive Truck Legends memorabilia including branded hats, decals, and more.

Chevy Salute's Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s Racing Career

Chevrolet is honoring the long and illustrious career of NASCAR driver and Team Chevy family member, Dale Earnhardt Jr., who is retiring from racing at the end of this season. His 22 of years of racing will be celebrated in a commercial, depicting the major milestones in his career. The 30-second spot, called "What a Ride," will be shown throughout the rest of the race season until the year-end NASCAR championship banquet celebration.

During his retirement speech, Earnhardt Jr. spoke about his partnership with the Detroit-motor brand,  "It’s an honor to carry the Chevrolet bowtie on my cars. And I don’t just mean that on the race track — I’m Chevrolet for life."


George Springer Wins World Series MVP, 2018 Silverado Centennial Edition

For his achievement of winning the 2017 Willie Mays World Series MVP, George Springer, centerfielder for the Houston Astros, was awarded a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado Centennial Edition. Springer led the Astros to the franchise's first World Series championship by going 11-for-29 with seven RBI and five home runs. His home run total ties the record for most home runs in a World Series.
