A few years ago, Ford Motor Company released the newly updated Ford Fusion, which impacted the family sedan class in a large way. Unlike the Camry or the Accord, the Fusion featured a striking, dramatic styling and an updated interior the felt more sophisticated than the Japanese models. This put the Malibu behind, and GM was focused on bringing itself to the top of the family-sedan class.

Since the release of the Ford Fusion, General Motors has stepped up their game, and the release of the 2016 Malibu will forever change the entire auto-industry. The all-new Chevy Malibu will arrive to dealers this fall, and GM hopes that its profits and sales will rise as a result, which will definitely happen. Due to all of this immense competition going on in the popular midsize-segment, the car-shoppers will be the real winners at the end of the day!
